i learnt a lesson from my korean student who shared with me a video she watched during church last week. the story goes something like this..
there was a bus full of passengers and it was speeding along. at that moment, the road ahead gave way to a steep ravine. to the side, there is an alternative route which he can take to avert the looming disaster. however, there is a young boy standing there. not being able to stop in time, the driver has two options:
1. drive straight ahead and perish with everyone onboard
2. steer to the side and save everyone onboard.

Guess which option the driver chose ultimately?

He steered to the side and knocked down the boy. sounds reasonable?
well.. the twist is the boy turned out to be the son of the driver. the father had sacrificed his son for the sake of people unrelated to him, just like how God gave His son for us.

who says teaching is a one way process? you never know what new insights your students may invoke in you.

finally submitted all my term assignments. now, i must set my focus on studying hard. anyone want to study at the National Library let me know k?
