Complexity meets simplicity..
i finali got to meet up wid val todae. met nancy n xiang there too. such a coincidence. perhaps mac is still quite a preferred place to hangout? anywae i finali got to try the fan-tastic. though i'd sae it wasnt exactly wat its name is.. abit too salty for my liking. n as val said.. the chicken rice taste is 'covered' by the chicken? n so as a whole, it juz doesnt stand out.. not reali disappointed but also not totally awed. haha.
went to imm after dat cos it's been ages since we last met up. anywae, was hounded by some insurance guys.. tried a funny antic wid mi.. goes something lyk:
He: hey! do u remember mi? i spoke to u in orchard dat time.
Me: No, i dun rem.. (cos basically i've a very bad memory, i wun rem if i onli met someone once unless he's someone special? n another thing is i haven exactly gone to orchard frequently in recent months, doubt i've even seen him..)
He: r u a student?
Me:yeah. in uni.
He:which uni?
Me: nus.
He: do u work or teach any tuition?
Me:no (in fact i wanted to say y u wanna offer mi any job?)
n luckily at this moment, val, wid her fierce stare, saved mi from the clutches of the irritating agent. phew! thanks val. i nv seem to be able to get past these outdoor sales ppl.. anywae when i saw those ppl i'm reminded of my irritating agent. if they ask mi to buy another policy again, i might juz lose my cool. darn. it isnt lyk the increasing sch fees r not affecting mi lor.. still ask mi to put myself into more financial difficulty.. duhx..
